The story

Amets emerges as a bearer of the ancient lineages of Basque culinary excellence.

Her journey begins in the rustic baserris of the Basque Country. From an early age, she was immersed in a world where the clink of utensils and the aroma of bubbling stews formed the backdrop to her upbringing. The kitchen was the heart of the home, a sanctuary where stories were shared, family bonds were strengthened, and the joys and sorrows of everyday life were celebrated. It was where all the women of the family came together. From her grandmother and mother, master cooks, she absorbed not only the techniques of Basque cuisine, but also the spirit of sharing and nurturing that permeated every dish.

Amets Laskurain

Co-Creator of Nundoka Vision and Chef Amets’ culinary journey transcends mere tradition. Driven by an insatiable curiosity and a deep respect for the bounty of the earth, she embarked on a quest to unite her family’s culinary heritage with new flavors, techniques, and perspectives. Drawing inspiration from her travels and encounters with diverse cuisines, she weaves a tapestry of flavors that combines the robustness of Basque cooking with the delicate nuances of other gastronomies. Her passion for cooking reflects her broader spirit of creation and connection. With her background as a health and nutrition therapist, she understands the profound impact food can have on both the body and soul. Through her creations, she extends her healing touch beyond the consulting room, crafting meals that not only satisfy hunger, but also heal the body and nourish the spirit.

Eva C. Vandamme

Co-creator of Nundoka Logistics, Customer Service and Marketing Eva is a natural explorer who, from a very young age, has been able to find magic in everything around her. Her insatiable curiosity and her ability to embrace life with passion have led her to travel, live, and become part of communities across four continents. This open-minded approach to learning and her constant search for new horizons have been key to developing multiple professional facets. With deep reflection and the sensitivity to understand people and contexts, she brings value through experience and empathy. Having lived and worked in diverse places, she has turned logistics management into an intrinsic skill. Her background in event and film production, combined with her commitment to responsible consumption and production, ensures efficient, sustainable, and tailored planning for any event or circumstance. Thanks to her experience in elite sports and the hospitality industry, Eva has developed a unique ability to handle unforeseen situations with serenity, seeking solutions with calmness and a positive attitude. Her numerous volunteer projects and social work in various countries, along with prolonged stays in diverse cultural contexts, have allowed her to develop a strong sensitivity to the needs of others and a genuine ability to connect. Her experience as a yoga and meditation teacher, as well as her expertise in vegan and raw cooking, enhances her understanding of conscious living and holistic well-being, enriching her contributions. Her background in sustainable tourism, from Empordà to the Camino de Santiago, reinforces her commitment to close, respectful, and personalized care. With a global vision, a passion for helping, and a talent for connection, Eva brings organization, creativity, and genuine attention to detail to Nundoka.
